Learn MoreI had a procedure done at this place . I was really nervous since it was my first time but the way they treated me gave me calmness and the procedure was done so quick . Thank you very much
The nurses at Thundbird Endoscopy Center are some of the nicest I've ever had.
I had to get both an upper endo and colonoscopy done. I have never been under anesthesia and have extreme anxiety. The receptionist Michelle was so kind and helpful answering my questions. The nurses all calmed me down, reminded me why I was getting this done, and helped me feel assured there is nothing to fear. Step by step they explained the process. The nurse who put my IV in was amazing- I had never had an IV put in so gently in my life. It was gentler than getting blood drawn. I got to see the dr before and he was calming and kind. When I was wheeled into the procedure room it wasn’t scary - the lights were off and music was playing so it eased my anxiety. They asked me to lay on my side, one nurse distracted me and was helping position my pillow and the anesthesiologist put me out right then. So there was no build up or intense moment. I don’t remember anything at all. I woke up in the recovery room and my nurse Adam took such great care of me. All of the staff members were so kind, supportive, calming, caring, and helpful. The way this facility is ran is 10/10 ⭐️ because I really felt safe and comfortable and heard and taken care of. I know the next time I go in for this procedure again I’ll have zero worries.. and this is coming from someone with panic attacks/anxiety. If you’re debating on getting it done.. just do it, and do it here. The doctors here are the best GI doctors in Arizona.
It’s a great place to go! I love my doctor Jodie Labowitz! Been going there for over ten years!
