The surgery prep was good, the personnel were very kind and helpful. After the procedure, I had unexpected pain and discomfort. I called the physician on call and he was not helpful at all. I needed some advice on how to alleviate the pain but I was basically told that it’s not from the endoscopy and there is nothing he can do for me. The pain continued after a few days and I called the office and left a message for Dr Yanish’s assistant. She called me back promptly and that’s appreciated. She told me that a doctor on call would call me that day. I did not receive a phone call that day. My overall impression was that I was well taken care of before the procedure but not after. I was trying to get answers and relief from the discomfort but I keep being told that it was not from the procedure. I was feeling fine before the procedure and the discomfort happened after I woke up and the pain was there so in my mind, they are connected. All I needed was to get suggestions on how I can alleviate the pain. A week later, I’m still experiencing stomach bloating, gassiness, and pain. If it’s not from the procedure, then I needed help with finding out what’s causing it. Thankfully, Dr Yanish recommended another diagnostic test. I just needed some help right after the procedure aside from being told that the pain had nothing to do with the procedure.
Thunderbird Endoscopy was great, everything from the front desk to all the staff. I highly recommend them especially Dr. Yanish.
Love, Dr. Yanish. Sad to know he is living. But he deserves to rest, after all these years. As far as the Conoloscopy is concern it went well no complains.
